Thank you for choosing DTF Center San Antonio - Everything Printing! To help you achieve the best results with your DTF transfers, we’ve outlined simple, step-by-step instructions below. Follow these carefully to ensure a smooth and durable application.
1. Preheat Your Heat Press
Set your heat press to 315°F to get started. Adjust the temperature based on your material:
- Cotton: 315°F
- Polyester: 290°F
- Cotton-Poly Blend: 305°F
2. Apply the Transfer
Place the transfer on your garment and press firmly for 10-15 seconds at the recommended temperature.
3. Peel Hot
Carefully peel the transfer while it’s still hot for the best results.
4. Final Press with Teflon Sheet
Cover the design with a Teflon sheet and press again for 5 seconds to secure the design and ensure durability.
5. Recommended Equipment
For the best results, we recommend using a heat press machine rather than a handheld press or regular iron. This ensures even heat distribution and consistent pressure.
